How It Works

Onboarding Process of RootGuard

Step 01: Initial Inquiry

You can begin the process by submitting your initial inquiry to us. This can be done by completing the application form on our website, or by contacting us directly via a phone call or a WhatsApp message. Once you share your primary requirements, our team will provide you with all the essential details needed to proceed with the service.

Our service coverage area currently extends to Moratuwa, Kollupitiya, and Nugegoda.

Step 02: Initial Consultation & Package Selection

Following your initial inquiry, you will have the opportunity to participate in an online discussion via Google Meet with one of our directors.

The primary objectives of this consultation are:

  • To gain a precise understanding of your parents' current health status, daily requirements, and lifestyle.

  • To discuss your expectations from our services and any specific requests you or your family may have.

  • To guide you in choosing the most suitable care package that aligns perfectly with your requirements and budget.

  • To address and clarify any questions or concerns you may have about our organization and processes before officially starting the service.

Step 03: Registration & Home Visit

Upon completing the registration process after selecting your package, our team including a Government Registered Medical Officer will visit your parents' home on a date that is most convenient for you and them. During this visit, the following core tasks will be carried out:

  • Engaging in a heart-to-heart conversation with your parents to build a close bond and to help them appreciate the meaningful effort you have made to arrange this care for them.

  • Conducting a comprehensive home safety inspection to identify potential hazards or difficulties for your parents, and providing you with a detailed Safety Report along with recommendations for necessary maintenance adjustments.

  • Conducting a medical assessment by our doctor to open a dedicated Medical File, documenting their complete medical history, ongoing health conditions, allergies, and blood group.

  • Setting up a complimentary First Aid Box provided by our organization in a suitable, easily accessible location in the house for use during emergencies or immediate needs.

  • Handing over an official copy of the Service Contract executed between our organization and you, directly to your parents for their reference and records.

Step 04: Payments

The monthly fees corresponding to your selected care package must be settled at the start of each month. For the convenience of expatriates and busy professionals, we have established secure and hassle-free payment methods:

  • Payments can be easily made from any country using credit or debit cards through our highly secure Online Payment Gateway on the website.

  • If preferred, you also have the option to transfer funds directly to our official corporate bank account (Direct Bank Transfer).

Step 05: Service Continuity & Real-time Transparency

Our services officially commence once payments are settled, and we are deeply committed to providing you with 100% accountability and absolute transparency. Under this promise, the following practices are implemented:

  • Displaying a dedicated emergency contact board in a clearly visible location in the home, ensuring parents or household members can reach our support team 24/7 during any urgent situation.

  • Providing before-and-after photo verifications for any maintenance or repair work undertaken at the house, ensuring you can confirm the quality of work from afar.

  • Sharing clear snapshots of original bills instantly via WhatsApp for medicines, groceries, or any other items purchased on behalf of your parents.

  • Granting anytime access to our secure Client Portal, allowing you to view and audit all invoices, payment receipts, and your parents' medical records whenever you need.
